New level 4 Integrative counselling course launching September 2025
This is a two-year Diploma in Humanistic Counselling grounded in CPCAB’s practitioner development and therapeutic change model, utilizing Humanistic theories as the core theoretical framework.
The Humanistic tradition is underpinned by the philosophies of Existentialism and Phenomenology.
You will be introduced to the rationale and theory behind Humanistic counselling, with reference to well-known writers in the field, some of which you will meet as guest speakers
You will explore Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis , Attachment theory and working with the arts such as sand tray and clay therapy
You'll gain expertise as a Counsellor through a counselling placement at an agency, under supervision, where you'll need to complete 100 supervised client hours.
The course also requires a minimum of 40 hours of personal counselling over the two years.
In the second year, you'll be introduced to short-term and solution-focused therapies, including NLP.
Throughout the program, you'll explore key topics such as identity, diversity, mental health, depression, anxiety, loss and grieving, addictions, co-dependency, and eating disorders.
The course is priced at £7200 for the two years
